About Valve

The Cultural Centre Valve is a versatile platform, workspace and communal space in the Oulu city centre. Valve supports opportunities for art and culture to thrive and provides, among other things, spaces for event and hobby organizers. The Cultural Centre collaborates closely with associations and event organizers.

The Cultural Centre Valve is an organisation of the City of Oulu and is responsible for coordinating general cultural services. Oulu Culture Centre for Children and Youth also operates in Valve. In addition, urban neighbourhood culture services and arts and well-being services are produced at the Cultural Centre.
