Cultural Centre Valve is a versatile platform, work space and promoter of cultural activities in Oulu City Centre. Valve nurtures the operational preconditions of arts and culture, and manages facilities for organizers of events and leisure acivities. Valve collaborates closely with associations and event producers.
Cultural Centre Valve is one of City of Oulu’s culture establishments and is in charge of the coordination of General Cultural Services. The work at Valve, Oulu Culture Centre for Children and Youth, as well as the services of Urban Neighbourhood Culture and Arts and Well-being fall under the umbrella of General Cultural Services.
