Restaurant Valveen Paljetti creates a space for experiencing performances and events by a variety of different art forms, with an opportunity to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat. Want to perform at an Afterwork?
Art goes Afterwork works as an opportunity to showcase your artistic work and to gain visibility, and performance experience. Previous Afterwork events have featured, not only various music performances but also book launches, improvisational theatre, and various disciplines of art by professionals, as well as newcomers. Often these events tie in with the ongoing festivals at Valve.
So, if you’re looking for a stage for your performance, please fill this application form (opens in a new tab)! Briefly describe the nature of your performance, and suggest at least two options for preferred date/time. Please note that the Art goes Afterwork events always take place on Fridays between 4 PM and 6 PM. Performers will be contacted after we’ve processed the applications.
Afterwork Cooperation
The performances take place on restaurant Valveen Paljetti stage, which Cultural Centre Valve and the restaurant provides for the performer to use. It is accustomed that the performer brings their own PA-system. It’s possible to use Valve’s light PA-system, which can also be used to complement your own equipment. Please note that you must know how to use the PA-system and other related equipment independently. The events will be advertised in Valve’s, and the restaurant’s marketing channels, but please remember to advertise to your own network as well.
Performers selected for the Art goes Afterwork events will receive a performance fee of 150 euros. The performer must be able to invoice the fee from Valve.
