Art-Being Family Club: SELF-PORTRAIT. CITY AND ME (Pop-Up Exhibition)

We warmly invite you to the pop-up exhibition “Self-portrait. City and Me” a unique artistic event that tells the stories of the people living in Oulu. These stories are expressed through metaphorical self-portraits using various forms of art: eco-art, photography, clay, and pastel drawing. Each piece of art reflects the emotions, experiences, and lives of the participants who live in Oulu.

The works of art are not just creative expressions but are deeply inspired by the Finnish nature, the serene surroundings of Pikisaari, and the favorite places of our participants in Oulu. These metaphorical portraits capture the inner vision of how these individuals see themselves in the city they call home.

During the exhibition, you’ll also have the chance to listen to the personal stories of our international, non-professional artists. They will share their reflections on their inner feelings and thoughts, brought to life through creative art expression.

Come and support the diverse community of Oulu! Your presence will celebrate these incredible stories and the richness of the city’s multicultural spirit.
